FLINDERS UNIVERSITY
For too long, people with ME/CFS, mobility, and health issues have been misunderstood and left behind, contending with stigma, inadequate treatment options, and social and health support programs that are not adapted to their circumstances.
To tackle this situation, Flinders University researchers allied with the Caring Future Institute, ME/CFS Australia, and Leon Studio to co-create an awareness campaign that supports the effort to raise the FHBP’s voices while finding viable and inclusive solutions to their unique needs.
To truly understand the implications behind this sensitive issue, we immersed ourselves in FHBP’s world through research, consumer insights, and team interviews. It became clear that we needed to build the concept around the essence of their realities, as individuals first, then as an affected community, to highlight their challenges.
Based on the premise that anyone can become FHBP, Highlighting the Unseen: FHBP focuses on amplifying the message and making people feel empathy and the urge to support.
